How do I install nVidia drivers to Slackware?

Go here and read the README and get the .run file.
If you are using slackware 10 then you need to work with xorg stuff, /etc/X11/xorg.conf and maybe xorgconfig. If you have an earlier version of slackware then you will work with the xf86config stuff. It's not likely that you will have an xf86config-4 file with slackware, unless maybe older versions used it. |
