It's pretty easy, There is a download from nvidia.com, which can be run as root using

sh NV*run

This installs the drivers.

Then you must edit XF86Config-4 to use them.

READ the README from nvidia.com. The instructions are simple, but you must be exact.

EDIT: ACH! sorry, I meant xorg.conf!

Go here and read the README and get the .run file.

If you are using slackware 10 then you need to work with xorg stuff, /etc/X11/xorg.conf and maybe xorgconfig.

If you have an earlier version of slackware then you will work with the xf86config stuff.

It's not likely that you will have an xf86config-4 file with slackware, unless maybe older versions used it.

Yes, but before you do that you have be in runlevel 3.
