One hopes that you are not making excuses for playing the game yourself:-)

Anyway, I confirm, that out of curiosity I tried to compile

Quote:
./configure --prefix=/usr \
--sysconfdir=/etc \
--localstatedir=/var \
--mandir=/usr/man

make
and I am getting errors like yours.

This is not a dependency problem as the ./configure went smooth.

Chris

Something weird in the header files. After untarring change directory to ktmanga-0.7.2 or whatever version you have and run the following ..

Code:
sed -i "s/Q_OBJECT;/Q_OBJECT/g" ktamaga/*.h
Then configure, make etc should work. This may be due to some change in the Q_OBJECT macro definition between versions of KDE or something but this quick hack should fix it.
