Installing a PCI card driver
 
I have also posted a similar thread in the networking section of these forums, but I've been quite impressed by how helpful the people on this board is as well, so sorry for the redundancy.

I'm sorry if its a problem, but seeing as I am a complete n00b, could someone please explain how to install a driver. I have a Netgear FA311, and I am running Slackware 9.0. I've also saved the "c" file for my PCI card that was at http://www.scyld.com/network/ethercard.html onto a floppy. Where do I start?
