Installation problem

Hi,

I had simple question while going thru the slackware installation when i get to the screen to install linux kernel from the menu

boot use the kernel from the bootdisk
cdrom use the kernel from slackware cd
floppy install zimage from dos floopy
skip skip this menu (use default /boot/vmlinuz)

by mistake i clicked the boot option to boot the kernel from bootdisk but i didnt made any bootdisk prior to installation it then hanged after a while so i have to reboot the computer

so now how do i go about completing the installation

PS : I do have knoppix 4.0 live cd

if anybody has any ideas or know anything about it

Well i know i can install a fresh copy again just for curiosity want to know is there a way to complete this installation without having to go thru all again

(Canadian Guy)

presumably you could use the bootable slackware cd as if you were going to do a fresh install, but at the setup stage, tab down to the configure step, and change the option that is wrong...

That boot disk option was to use kernel from bootdisk. If you used bare.i or test26.s kernel, for example, during install setup start then tell installer at above step to use kernel from cd. pkgtool let's you go back to step you erred on without re-install.
