Install Xerox Phaser 5400

I was trying to install a xerox phaser 5400 as a network printer. I didn't see a driver for it in cups. I downloaded the driver from the Xerox site. Where do I install the driver?

I don't think that the Phaser 5400 is supported:

The Phaser 5500 is tho. You can try the instructions provided there.

So you got these ppd files right ?

I would gunzip the 'XRX_Phaser_5400.ppd' and copy that into '/usr/share/ppd' if it exists, if not then '/usr/cups/model'. Restart cups by running '/etc/rc.d/rc.cups restart' and go here and try installing the printer. (make sure it is on)

I found out how to install. I downloaded the drivers from Xerox and copied the files here:
/usr/share/cups/model
