Check first if you can access its BIOS and if you can disable SecureBoot.

If you can disable the SecureBoot and your tablet can boot from an external USB drive, then you probably are able to install Slackware.

However, I have no idea if you can do dual boot or how optimal will be Slackware for your tablet. I've heard that's needed a custom kernel and probably Plasma5 will be capable to handle the touchscreen.

But be aware of the caveat that you will not be able to upgrade to Windows 11 when it will be released in the near future, because it will require the SecureBoot to be enabled, which contradicts the Slackware requirements.

For boot options and getting into BIOS, just hold volume button, tap power, and wait a few seconds. Not remembering offhand if it's vol-up or vol-down, timing may take a couple of tries to get right. Secure boot is on by default, boot device order will need fiddling. With the few I'd had to do some maintenance on, no issues getting them into whatever liveboot environment, though PXE boot is a bit picky about which USB to ethernet devices it gets along with on the Surface Pro models I've handled. If you have the dock on-hand that helps.
