install... setup


Ok I partitioned my hd but when I run

# setup

to go through the rest of the install i get a bash command not found error.

WTF?

Have you tried # whereis setup ?
Which slack exactly do you try to install?
Have you tried another type of media (another CD for example) ?

I did a

whereis setup

and its located in within the man directories... Not good...

Ive looked in /sbin and /usr/sbin too...

what version of slack are u tryin to install ??

btw I suspect its a bad iso u got there ....

Yes, probably the installation media is bad.. but you can try to execute that 'setup'. Does it has +x flag?

My iso was bad redownloaded and everything was ok.
