if not install with 2.4 kernel and try sh nv... so tht check wether it works or not on 2.4

compile 2.6 kernel there u built in support for that,(there will b driver for u so make built in not as module.)
if it is not there then sh nvidia so that script will make a module for u.

i'm install it on kernel2.6
i think the install script built a module kernel for me because when i config kernel2.6, i don't use any nvidia driver at all(before i choose support nvidia framebuffer) and the install script failed with unable to find nvidia.a or sometimes fail unable to find nvidia.ko

konstruct has just finish compiling source kode for my kde3.5 and i'm getting ready to config it.

So far everything so good, hopefully i find everything i need this time, so i don't have to recompile anything anymore
