imaging question

hey all,

i've got a job where i need to create a set of icons, and then use these to 'stamp' onto some site plans. I was using Gimp to create the icons, but when it came to the stamping, i noticed there is (a visible) stamp tool. I need something that Photoshop offers, where i can add my custom stamps, then just use the tool to place them in (without have to copy/paste/move everytime).

Any ideas (i also checked Krita, but it hasn't got anything like it).

(btw, i ask here, cause.. i dont know why. well, everyone here seems to have pretty good experiance across a wide range).

I think ImageMagick might be able to do it.
