Image Viewer for Linux

Hello,

Pls suggest any available image viewer for Linux. It is required to support as many image formats as possible: jpg/tif etc.

Supports image rotate/resize/easy printing, etc.

I used to work with Irfan Viewer in windowz, and looking for a similliar program under linux.

Thanks,
Sader

Thanks for promt reply, but IMHO Gimp is more like Image Editor/Processor.

But I do have it installed anyway...

gqview for a GUI tool. ImageMagick for more involved use.

gThumb (part of GNOME) is pretty good, as is GNOME's more stripped-down image viewer, EOG.

Well, Quickveiw seems fine to me, but there is one issue:

I do not have a clue how to watch & print *.tif image files containing more that one pages inside....

I can work only with the first page.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Guys,

Anyone ?

I have to work with a lot of files(*.tif) containing multiple images(read: pages) in one file....
Is there a way i can look at them ? What program allows you do that ?
I can provide a sample file in case required....

Thanks,
Sader

P.S. I know a couple good programs in legacy OS like "Irfan View" & "ACD See"(not sure I wrote it right way...)

You may search fax viewing software, or maybe try this one: http://linux.bytesex.org/fbida/

sorry, I've found the solution just now...
Image Magic does this good enough.
But I'll try this one anyway.

Thanks for help

Try this:
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pierre.g/xnview/enhome.htm

I find it quite excellent. It reads and writes nearly 500 formats including multi-page TIFFs. It also rotates, crops, filters, resizes, batch renames, convert formats and just about anything else you can think of, short of making the tea. It is something like ImageMagick with a gui, but much easier to use. and a tenth of the size.
