icons to mounted filesystems with gnome

i installed dropline gnome on my slackware 10.2 box, everything seems to work but mounted partitions on my harddisk don't show up as icons on my desktop. cd and dvd drives seems ok when i mount them.

here is my fstab about the partition which don't appear:
/dev/sda1 /mnt/xp ntfs ro,users,umask=0 1 0
/dev/sda5 /mnt/shared vfat exec,codepage=857,umask=0,rw,user 1 0
/dev/sda6 /mnt/media vfat exec,codepage=857,umask=0,rw,user 1 0
/dev/sda7 /mnt/system vfat exec,codepage=857,umask=0,rw,user 1 0

thanks

well, this is Slackware, IF you want these extra icons you'll have to create them yourself..........

These won't show up on the desktop because they are not "removable media". Only removable disks (CDROM, DVD, USB and 1394 drives) are supposed to show up there by design. That isn't to say that you could not force it to work, but you might have to modify some gnome-vfs or hal stuff. You might want to ask in the Dropline forums instead.
