mikieboy Member Registered: Apr 2004 Location: Warrington, Cheshire, UK Distribution: Linux Mint 19.1 Xfce Posts: 555 Rep:	Icons that don't work As you may be aware, the "Start Here" icon present on the Gnome desktop in Slackware 10 also appears on the KDE desktop but does nothing. I have now created shortcut icons to my various devices (eg. CD-ROM, floppy etc) in KDE and find that they also appear when I run Gnome but are about as much use as a chocolate kettle in that desktop. Can anyone suggest how I can make these icons work in the respective desktops? Or if not, can I hide the ones that don't work?
