Hi ahxthecat What D1ver said.

Also, Sword And Sworcery keeps a log under ~/.capy/SwordAndSworcery.

I've got your problem too.
You're missing a recent graphics card and/or your graphics drivers lack OpenGL 4 support.
This is typical if you're using Mesa drivers.

Here's the result of running swordandsworcery from the command line...

bash-4.1$ swordandsworcery
/usr/games/swordandsworcery: line 3: cd: /opt/swordandsworcery/bin: No such file or directory
/usr/games/swordandsworcery: line 4: /home/gordon/Desktop/swordandsworcery: No such file or directory
/usr/games/swordandsworcery: line 4: exec: /home/gordon/Desktop/swordandsworcery: cannot execute: No such file or directory

is this a multilib issue?

Where did you install the game?

Edit: can you check if it's properly installed under /opt/swordandsworcery ?

Fix what? You didn't provide additional information to help you further.
What's your video card? What drivers are you using?

My apologies...I've been looking for the command to tell me what my graphics card is and what driver I'm using, but I haven't found it yet. Can you help me out?

lspci should point out what graphic adapters you have on your system.

Code:
ls /opt/swordandsworcery/

bin lib res

ls /opt/swordandsworcery/bin

swordandsworcery
Did you use the latest tarball from your humble bundle page (swordandsworcery-linux-1.0-1338343971.tar.gz)?

And if yes, check the downloaded file with md5sum and compare the output with the md5sum from Humble Bundle page.

Ok. Open the created package with an archive program (like Ark, file-roller etc.) under /tmp and check its contents. Does it have the opt/swordandsworcery/bin directory?

If no, something maybe went south during the creation of the package. Try to rebuild the package.

If yes, removepkg the game, and reinstall the package.

That's your graphics adapter. You should try installing Catalyst pre-12.6 (i.e. 12.5 and previous) drivers if you're using Mesa. You can check that from the output of:
Code:
glxinfo | grep GL_RENDERER
If "Gallium" appears in the output, then you're definetely on Mesa.
