Hugin needs libboost

Hello,

I'm running Slackware 13 and doing the final adjustments to install my favourite bits of software.

I have installed Hugin and all its dependencies from Slacky.eu, and the necessary freeglut from SlackBuilds. Running Hugin my command line tells me I need libboost. Doing a Slackpkg search reveals Boost is already installed (boost-1.41.0-i486-1). How can I get Hugin to recognise by Boost package?

I don't know if this is relevant, but.....

On my Arch system, the installed boost is: boost 1.41.0-2. It offers to install: hugin-2009.2.0-2

With this in place, the package manager does not ID any newer version.

There is no "libboost" anywhere on the system

To uphold my reputation as a Slackware curmudgeon, I'll observe that this is an example of why I use Arch......

I suggest you get the SlackBuild from there or from www.slackbuilds.org. I emailed Erik Hanson a few days ago and he updated all the scripts almost immediately. They are in pending, so it should take not too long until the missing ones are published on www.slackbuilds.org - you will need wxGTK or wxPython (I tried only wxPython), libxmi, autopano-sift-C, libpano13, enblend-enfuse and hugin itself.

BTW, I didn't need to install freeglut to get it working on Slackware64 13.0, no problems so far.

Slackware-current != Slackware-13.0
