HPLIP for hp usb all-in-one
I've never been able to get the scanner working on my allinone printer/scanner/copier. Printing is fine. I've installed net-snmp and hplip but xsane wont work and I can't launch the hp toolbox. I tried hp-toolbox in the console and get this:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/hp-toolbox", line 41, in ? import base.async_qt as async File "/usr/share/hplip/base/async_qt.py", line 85, in ? from qt import * ImportError: libnvidia-tls.so.1: cannot handle TLS data I know other people have got it to work ok. It might have something to do with my video card but I'm not sure. (Nvidia GeForce fx5200 128mb). Basically at the moment hpijs which ships with slackware is all the functionality I get ie printing but no scanner. It must be a hardware issue. |
