I have a HP Laserjet Professional M1212nf printer supported via hplip just fine and dandy. I was trying 13.37rc3 since hplip-3.11.x now supports color scanning over the network (3.10.x did only grey scale). Going through hp-setup and hp-plugin as root, the plugin for this printer fails to download:
Code:

Opening
http://hplip.sf.net/plugin.conf via Firefox, locating the correct .run, and downloading, then choosing the .run file from the GUI works ok.
So not not a deal breaker, just a bit annoying as I have no clue about Python. Can this be addressed before 13.37 goes stable, or is it an upstream issue with either Python or hplip?
(Please no "we don't need no stinking GUI" responses - you know who you are. Slackware makes a fine server, but I don't need no stinking server, just a simple, efficient desktop computer system. I will strangle anyone who recommends Ubuntu. Seriously.)
