Question hplip-3.11.1 in 13.37rc3: plugin download error

I have a HP Laserjet Professional M1212nf printer supported via hplip just fine and dandy. I was trying 13.37rc3 since hplip-3.11.x now supports color scanning over the network (3.10.x did only grey scale). Going through hp-setup and hp-plugin as root, the plugin for this printer fails to download:
Code:
# hp-plugin

HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.11.1)
Plugin Download and Install Utility ver. 2.1

Opening http://hplip.sf.net/plugin.conf via Firefox, locating the correct .run, and downloading, then choosing the .run file from the GUI works ok.

So not not a deal breaker, just a bit annoying as I have no clue about Python. Can this be addressed before 13.37 goes stable, or is it an upstream issue with either Python or hplip?

(Please no "we don't need no stinking GUI" responses - you know who you are. Slackware makes a fine server, but I don't need no stinking server, just a simple, efficient desktop computer system. I will strangle anyone who recommends Ubuntu. Seriously.)

Boy, 13.37RC3.1415... (Pi) is already updated hplip-3.11.3a. I am a happy camper. Also goes to show that I am really unable to keep up with this warp speed RC schedule!

Not to start a new one...

Neither linuxprinting.org nor openprinting.org are available.
And the installation of some HP-printers and MFPs fails, because the installer tries to fetch some files from these sites (which in fact lead to the same IP address).

What's the best decision? Where else it is possible to get that plugin?

Found the solution:
http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web..._download.html
Just install the latest hplip version from http://hplipopensource.com/ and then the downloaded plugin.
