howto install mpeg hw/decoder driver for Via board

Hi all,

I'm a Linux newbie so please bare with me. Let me explain a bit more in details my problem. All I want to do is , playing a .MPG movie file using either Mplayer or Xine on my Slackware 10.1 box. The problem I have is that when i'm playing movie, the sound alway goes before the movie picture, it looks very choppy and slow. My CPU clock goes up to 100%.

My mainboard spec
http://www.case-mod.com/store/produc...7d65d94fb90b28

VIA 800MHz C3™/ VIA Eden™ EBGA processor

Video card - Integrated VIA UniChrome™Pro AGP graphics with MPEG-2 decoder /MPEG-4 Accelerator

RAM: 1G

How can I install install Unichrome graphics driver and configure Xorg.conf so that I can reduce my CPU load and my movie won't be choppy anymore ??

Thanks in advance.
