How to use usb stick in Slackware 11?

Hello,

I am unable to mount usb stick in Slackware-11. I am using 2.6.18 kernel (testing).

Thanks for your help,

Anand

Please plug in your USB-Stick and post the output of dmesg and lsusb here ;)

Or are you simply asking for the mount command ?

As for mine I just use mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /media/memory

that's because when I insert my usbstick it detects it as sda1

just type dmesg and read the last few lines that should give you a clue
