How to use bootsplash in Slackware 9.1?


Has anybody used bootsplash successfully on Slackware 9.1? If yes can I get help regarding this? I tried the procedure given at but still I am not getting the bootsplash. Any useful pointers?

I am having problems getting it to work in Slackware 9.1 also but read this thread maybe it could help you out. And if you get it to work let me know.
