How to transfer data from Nokia mobile phone to slack10.2

I have Nokia 6225 that had a camera and I want to save my pictures on my PC that already installed with slack10.2 (kernel2.6.13).
I have a USB data cable (ma-8620e) based on Pl 2303 from www.mobileaction.com that will connect it to my PC. -----> I usually use it to connect to the internet
So the point is I can use it to make internet connection but how to make it able to transfer my Pictures that saved on the phone?

any help will be appriciated
thanx

I configured a USB 2 IRDA cable yesterday to get my mobile phone to work. Unfortunatly the Linux software doesn't support it.
It's not a USB data cable as yours but I needed the same PL 2303 driver to get it.
To build that module you need to select Device Drivers -> USB Support -> USB Serial Converter -> USB Profilic 2303 Single Port Serial Driver.

After that you'll probably need OpenObex and ObexFtp ( http://openobex.sourceforge.net/ ) which is the software that let's you transfer files from and to the phone.

Edit: Nokia 6230 is included as a supported device, I guess yours will work too: http://triq.net/obex/devices/nokia

I've just found this prject too, it seems very complete and supports most Nokia phones: http://www.mwiacek.com/gsm/soft/gammu.html / http://www.gammu.net/
