How to start '/usr/sbin/sendmail' auto ... ?

Hi,

now 'postfix' arranged my e-mail transport, so i thought to delete 'rc.sendmail' in '/etc/rc.d/', but that was a mistake.

So 'postfix' (for me) also need '/usr/sbin/sendmail', otherwise there is no mail-transport. ('/usr/sbin/sendmail' was saved!)

So i think i have 'rc.sendmail' give it back to '/etc/rc.d/..', but not sure, cause only '/usr/sbin/sendmail' is neccessary?

A short information, (or may be someone have this 'rc.sendmail' script in '/etc/rc.d') and could send me, would be great!

Or a tip i would be grateful.

You can grab the sendmail-<version>.tgz from your installation CD1 (mount the CD and look under /n directory) and extract it in /tmp to get the missing rc.sendmail and copy it over in /etc/rc.d. Or you can use installpkg to re-install sendmail.
