How to list/find all files etc related to a package?

OK
meaning, if I have gcc or firefox installed
how do i either output a "list" of all files, etc related to firefox and
how do I know exactly which files are included in firefox including depends??

so, like

/usr/share/firefox

or whatever but All files/etc related to a specific pkg?
thanks

if you have slackpkg installed you can try
Code:
slackpkg search firefox
/var/log/packages/mozilla-firefox-3.5.2-i686-1 is a list of all files in that package.

Nothing native to Slackware will install/list depends of a package. Well whoami does list the native dependency tracker according to Robbie

ldd /$PATH/$PROGAM will list what the program links against, but will not necessarily give every-single dependency. There's a thread in this forum about slackdeptrack, which might be useful as well. ( http://freshmeat.net/projects/slackdeptrack/ )

less /var/log/packages/mozilla-firefox-3.5.2-x86_64-1 will list what was installed by a package.

Webmin can list files that where installed by a package (and other features), as will pkgtool - View.
