How to install Lotus Notes 8.5 on Slackware?

Hi all,

I have found a few pointers here and there, mainly about dependencies, on how to install Lotus Notes 8.5 on Linux.

I have only been able to find Lotus Notes 8.5 for Linux installers packaged as .deb and .rpm.

I know I can convert .deb to .tgz using:
Code:
$ alien <deb-package>.deb -t
and the .rpm with the rpm2tgz command.

I tried both methods, got the .tgz package but was unable to successfully install Notes - which I do need to work with.

Also I was unable to find the ibm_lotus packaged as .tar.gz, so I would like some help here... please!

There is a massive list of dependencies on the homepage for lotus notes many are gnome related. You should be able to get most of them from the slackbuilds site.
