how to install firefox 4...

i downloaded http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox...WT.mc_ev=click but i canno't find out how to build it...can someone help, please?
i have slack 13.1

i tried to unpack it in /opt/firefox and then to run it from there but i got this result:
$ ./firefox
/opt/firefox/run-mozilla.sh: line 141: /opt/firefox/firefox-bin: No such file or directory
/opt/firefox/run-mozilla.sh: line 141: /opt/firefox/firefox-bin: Success

then i only started firefox-bin (which is there in /opt/firefox/ ) and i got this:

$ ./firefox-bin
bash: ./firefox-bin: No such file or directory

please help, tnx :-)

Firefox must be started with the 'firefox' script :

cd /opt/firefox/ && ./firefox

May be you got a corrupt package ?

EDIT : The package from your link works OK here.

it's not working here :-( is it some dependency problem?

btw what slack do you have? 32-bit or 64? i have 64...

I've got the same error. I don't suppose it's got anything to do with running x86_64, is it? I don't have time now to look into it.
You could use FF4 beta from Slackware /testing instead.

ok, i solved it :-) it's probably because it was 32-bit version...i downloaded 64-bit (but beta 11 instead of beta 10) from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.o.../latest-trunk/ and it works :-)
