How to change the window manager

how do i change the window manager on my slack 10.2 box?
currently im running on KDE and teh bloat really slows things up so iwas thinking of trying out cholesterol free or even xfce if i can work out how tro install it.

but first i need to knwo how to change the thing in ther firts place, do i do this in comannd liene mode or from withing KDE and how dop i do it?

xwmconfig - is the command

"pkgtool" from the CLI has a lot of slack scripts that can assist you. These can be
called individually, OR from pkgtool.

For a lighter WM - my personal preference is xfce4.
But thats just me.

hey it seems xfce and cholesterol free are one and teh same...
