well if its command line you could use something like:
cdrecord
and in graphical mode you could use something like:
k3b
it just depends what you want to do, if you wanna be more specific then we can point you in a more accurate direction..

here is what i use

make sure you are SU or root

now for the comands

cdrecord -v -pad speed= x (whatever your burner can do) dev =0,0,0 filename

now if you put the -dummy tag in there somewhere it will do a test write first ,then run the command again w/o the -dummy tag.
if you want it to eject after it's done, put in -eject

make sure you have your Cd burner setup right though as far as fstab and what have ya.

EDIT

yeah that tutorial is a good one.

i have been obsoleted

You can also always get a frontend app like Xcdroast to burn cd's from a GUI which uses cdrecord in the background..

I follow the tutorial but still I have a problem.

If I want to burn a booteable cd, not only copy a data.
What are the command do I have to include. I am trying to burn
a livecd named kurumin-2.02.iso. Following the command in the tutorial I burned three cd but no one of them is booteable. What is wrong?

cdrecord -v dev=x,x,x /location/of/kurumin-2.02.iso

Replace italics part accordingly
