how to burn cd?

Hi!

Can someone please explain to me how can i go about burning CD?

I have compiled in SCSI emulation support and also Generic SCSI with SCSI cd-rom under 2.6.0-test3. I append = "hdd=ide-scsi" in lilo.conf.

The kernel detected the cd-rom and assign it as /dev/sr0

when I do

cdrdao scanbus
My cd-writer is detected as such: (which is correct)
0,0,0: HP, CD-Writer+ 8200, 1.0f

That is as far I got. Now how do I actually write things to the cd?
Any powerful fronted for cdrdao or cdrecord or cdparanoia?

I am only interested in writing multi-session (ISO9660) cds. Not interested in UDF.

Thanks in advance.

Okay. I get everything going already.

Just go to www.xcdroast.org.
I actually got the slackware package from www.linuxpackages.net and do a search for xcdroast.

It is a front-end for cdrecord. Powerful stuff. Great. Check out the manual after installing it.

There is also K3B (for KDE) and CDBakeOven. Easy to use, nice looking front-ends, with multisession support.

Command-line is the way to go :)
