How To Add Scripts and Options At Startup?

How do I add for example a comand to be run at startup...I just want to start the sound on OSS and my adsl connection ....

In general, you can add them to /etc/rc.d/rc.local , but for sound at least, try looking through /etc/rc.d/rc.modules and seeing if the appropriate line isn't already there (but commented out). If it is, just uncomment it and you should be away.
