How to activate scroll on the mouse

How can I get the scroll on the mouse activated?

edit your xorg.conf which is located in /etc/X11/

looking through the file you should see something about mice:

just change the Option Protocol to IMPS/2 and add the Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" like i have above, restart x and tada!
