How many packages in Slackbuilds.org

How many packages are there in Slackbuilds.org? Is this number mentioned anywhere?

Sure, it's mentioned.

Code:
$ grep 'NAME:' SLACKBUILDS.TXT | wc -l

Take a look at the changelog; it should give you an idea. http://slackbuilds.org/ChangeLog.txt

This is because the changelog will contain updates to the same programs (much like the Slackware changelog). Diantre's method will get you the most accurate number at the time of checking (since it comes straight from SBo).

This seems to be the most direct and accurate method.

To be pedantic: there are zero packages on SBo, a lot of SlackBuilds scripts though
