How do you join Slackware development team?

Patrick must have a team to help him develop Slackware. I just wonder how do you join Slackware development team?
Sending him email?

In Debian, it is clear that if you want to be, let's say, maintainer, you just go to this page to find out:
http://www.debian.org/devel/join/newmaint

Thank you.

It's hard to find any mention of other people working on slack officially, except for Pat V. I saw an 'internal note' in a script from Pat to some one, once. If you'll notice in the /bootdisks and /kernels directories, the scripts he uses to maintain them are right there.
All the config files are reused, just insert the new kernel-source and run MAKE_ALL_BOOTDISKS
most who feel they have something to add just make their own Slack-alike distro like me? Wanta join my project, which has recently been selected OS of choice by an non-profit internationl e-learning org? Looking for testers, scripters and 'C' programmers.
