Exclamation how do I diagnose keyboard problems when experiencing

Runnign slackware kernel 4.7.0 on a baytrail device laptop (hardware not ideal!)

but sometimes it works just right. Which is the problem. THe other times I'm learning things to try to get this machine to work always . The main problem is the keyboard. right now it types goood

aaaaaaaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbbbbbbccccccccc

but there are a lot of times when shutting it off them powering back up

it will not cooperate very well. in X or not...

Working in X is not a concern.

Just terminal I would like the cursor to blink like it should .
But when its acting up it will blink slow and type slow

and will not repeat keys...

Any help appreciated

Also with livebootdisks they works always ... And I don't think its the amount of modules I'm running because it does work some of the time

It looks like you've had to shutdown or halt improperly?
Please provide a link to the exact laptop you're using, what version of Slackware, what "livedisk" you're talking about, and why are you using kernel 4.7.0?
