how can sbopkg work in my situation?

Hello all.

In my situation, I have to use a proxy to visit Internet. The proxy I use only supports http_proxy and ftp_proxy, and I could not use rsync and cannot download the information files for sbopkg. But I found that once download the information files, the http_proxy works and I can use sbopkg to download packages and build. So dose use wget etc. to download the information file and copy to the correct directory works for my situation and how should I do?

Thanks for help.

What you describe using wget piecemeal could work but probably the best thing to do is to use lftp's mirror capability to mirror ftp://slackbuilds.org/$VER (placing it where SBo would place the rsync mirror). Aside from using that rather than sbopkg's '-r' flag/Sync menu item, it should work normally, though I haven't tested it. Adding lftp capability directly to sbopkg is on the TODO.

-- Oh, and don't forget to exclude deleting *.sbopkg files from your local mirror.

Seems ftp_proxy no longer work now. I try wget -m and it work partly. Thanks.
