Help with lilo install after chrooting into LUKS/LVM

I messed up my initrd so I had to chroot in, but running lilo gives the following error:

Fatal: device-mapper: only linear boot device supported

Is there some option I'm missing?

Where is your /boot located? The initrd and kernel files cannot be on an encrypted lvm partition.

edit: nevermind, we cross-posted.
