-------------------------------------
 *  Unpacking archives
-------------------------------------
aufs
lzma457
squashfs3.4
linux-2.6.29.6
Squashfs LZMA patches
-------------------------------------
 * Preparing kernel: aufs performance patches, squashfs + lzma patches
-------------------------------------
patching file include/linux/splice.h
Hunk #1 succeeded at 83 (offset 13 lines).
patching file fs/splice.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 971 (offset 28 lines).
Hunk #2 succeeded at 963 (offset -1 lines).
Hunk #3 succeeded at 1015 (offset 24 lines).
patching file security/security.c
Hunk #1 succeeded at 411 with fuzz 2 (offset 2 lines).
patching file fs/Kconfig
Hunk #1 FAILED at 1348.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file fs/Kconfig.rej
patching file fs/Makefile
Reversed (or previously applied) patch detected! Assume -R? [n]
At this point I dont know what to do???
I tried make mproper after initial fail....

It doesnt do this if I use 2.6.27.27 kernel that came with it
But I wanna use slackware's real kernel

How do I fix this??

Kernel patches will only work with the kernel they were designed for, as anything different simply isn't going to match up to the data in the patch files.

However, Slackware's kernel is completely vanilla, or in other words has no changes or patches made to it like other distributions do. So there is no advantage running the "real Slackware kernel" versus the one you download from kernel.org.
