Has LQ cookie expiration changed?

Typically I login to LQ at start of my day, then leave the browser open and click my LQ link through the day as time permits, and do not recall ever having to login again through the day.

Today I have had to login again after half an hour or so of inactivity.

Any one else experience this? I looked for any announcement of a change but did not find one. My system clock and browser are unchanged.

You'll want to have this moved to the LQ Suggestions and Feedback forum.

I just tried an experiment and it seems to be related to how I login, probably different session cookies.

If I login via a direct link to LQSpy, the login expires after ~1/2 hour.

If I login via a direct link to the Slackware section (as I normally do), it does not expire for a longer period, probably all day.

So it was just me - I guess I happened to hit the LQSpy link first today.
