gxine-0.5.903 problems

The gxine that ships with Slackware current (0.5.903), is not so stable. I get lots of crashes when viewing embedded wmv in Firefox.

According to the xine site, version 0.5.904 fixes this:

Quote:

tray.
I'm now running 0.5.904 without any problems. I'd just thought I'd post in case it helps someone.

Cheers

Use the xine-plugin. Gxine plugin only handles a hand full of mime types. Xine plugin handles around 76 mime types and it's much more stable, IMO.

The best thing to do with gxine is uninstall it.

I'm not a big fan of gxine either. But since it ships with Slackware-Current...

Just tried the xine-plugin:
There doesn't seem to be a way to go fullscreen. Am I missing something?
