OpenOffice sometimes scr*wed up some fancy ppt layouts, so I now run MS Powerpoint through Codeweaver's Crossover Office. There's a free trial version to check it out.

Cheers, Leon.

Crossover Office

I am always forced to do things in MS-Office work related and sometimes school related, therefore I use Crossover Office. It is amazing to me how stable Crossover Office has become, I have very few problems. I even run Adobe Acrobat 6 in Crossover and it works great (for PDFs that have new formating that can't be read in Acrobat 5 for linux). Codeweavers provides very good support I have had two issues in the past and support was prompt. For me Crossover is a great solution that just works!
