Guarddog and 2.6.0

I've used Guarddog as my firewall (or iptable director if you want) with my previous kernels (2.2 & 2.4) I switched to 2.6.0 some time ago but the whole iptable thing seems to be changed. I've looked on google for a firewall which supports 2.6 but it seems that none do. I'm kinda unprotected now and since I'm on 24/7 that doesn't seem save (as in understatement) Not that I have much to protect but would hate to see my finally brilliantly working 2.6.0 box go to ruins. Anyone with an idea how to firewall or protect my box? I haven't seem complaining about firewall and 2.6.0 on the forum so I might be asking a stupid question, sorry. I did try Guarddog btw but I get a whole lot of error messages when booting about iptables and the firewall wont work.

Regards
