GTK+ 2.10.x on Slackware-current?

Hello,

i want to compile the new dev version of gimp (2.3.11) with the printer interface of gtk+ 2.10 but in current only gtk+ 2.8 is used. It is possible to install easily gtk 2.10 with all dependencies besides gtk 2.8 or it is necessary to replace it completely?

Maybe there are gtk+ 2.10 packages for slackware?

Just compile it yourself. I usually tend to upgrade pango/atk/cairo/glib before gtk2...

I asked Pat about shipping the latest versions of above packages on 11.0 but I recieved no word. Gnome-2.16 is set up to use the new functions from 2.10 as well. Looks like Pat isn't interested in anything gnome anymore...

Not a big deal. Just compile it yourself. The official .SlackBuild should work just fine. I upgraded the above packages on a stock 10.2 system and got no breakage on anything. Atleast that I came across.
