Sounds like you need to instal libwnck. But what does this have to do with gslapt?

You are using an unofficial package manager to install unofficial packages from an unofficial package repository. It is hard to give you any real advice when we don't even know what is going on with your system.

your right, i blasted the unsupported repo version off and compiled from source, so you cannot be answer nazis =) the source tarball works GREAT! slapt-get was giving me odd errors saying that libwick wasnt installed when i tryed to remove it, and that it is up to date when i would try to install it, and reinstall would give me an error even though its supposed to be supported.

now i have emerald, and gnomes window manager working again =)
