Sorry for not ready answer. We are working for a bugfix release. For my fault the uninstall routine remove the pkgtool package but non replace it, whith the orginal 12.0 package. GSlacky 2.20.1 install the current pkgtool, because the standard 12.0 don't work with a large number of packages installed by GSlacky. It's easy to fix. Just copy the original pkgtool to root directory and unpack it, with a simple tar xvzf.
This is a stupid but critical bug. The bugfix version have also a complete Compiz-Fusion support.
Markus we removed the mini-install, because now GSlacky can work like a local slapt-get repository (EXPERIMENTAL). Then should be easy install a Gnome-apps like Gnumeric, without a complete desktop install. About "non intrusive" comment was referred only at Pam and X11 libraries, but i have nothing against Pam and Dropline. When we started with GSlacky our idea was to build a a "vanilla" Gnome for Slackware.

The standard 12.0 pkgtool don't work with a large number of packages installed. The problem was fixed with the current pkgtool.
Sorry but my connection don't work good.

Fixed pkgtool to handle much larger numbers of installed packages.
Thanks to Gabriele Inghirami for the patch.

Interesting.. I assume it was the "large number of fields" issue. Do you recall which GSlacky packages were affected?

Oh.. Saw the bottom of your post just now. Very Strange indeed.
