Hi, I installed Slackware 13.37 32-bit without kde everything works, updated Xfce to 4.10, installed gnome-slackbuild 3.2 and when I go to launch it it stays frozen on the stripped blue loading screen and the terminal gets these errors:

There were originally a few more errors that were trying to load old autostart links from xfce-4.6 I deleted the .desktop files for those and the errors went away. Was looking in gnome-shell.desktop not sure where the error might be with that:

Any help would be thankful.

gnome shell as of gnome 3.2 works only with proprietary ati and nvidia drivers, it doesn't work with software mesa (the GL flavour used by intel, the opensource drivers or any virtual machine solution).

if you got already one of the two above mentioned drivers and you have verified they are working correctly, try creating a new user with adduser (don't forget to push the up arrow when it ask for additionl groups) and launch gnome with that.

as gnome is not part of slackware, maybe you will have a better support on the gsb-users mailing list.
