I have installed Slack 9.1 + Dropline. I need your help in order to find a printer that work perfectly with Slack. I hope that the best one is not going to be expensive.
HP DeskJet 340 (through) 9300 all seem to work well but I have only tested the lower-end (cheaper) ones. I am using the 920 with the Foomatic + hpijs and cups (current) and it it working flawlessly. It prints every time I want it to.
I agree with the 920. I purchased one about a year ago (open box) from Best Buy for $60.00. Works like a champ (as a USB printer). I had it on the LPT port originally, but I guess my cable was too old. Once I plugged it into USB, no problems at all.
