No, I get no errors on a clean install of Slackware 12.2.
Version 0.6 and 0.6.1 :
1)
http://slackbuilds.org/result/?search=GNS&sv=12.2

2)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gns-3/files/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gns-...r.bz2/download
> > GNS3-0.6.1-src.tar.bz2

Dependencies ..
I used these packages from slacky.eu :
qt4-4.5.2-i686-1as.tgz
pyqt4-4.5.2-i486-1as.tgz
sip-4.8.1-i486-1as.tgz
.....

3) Version 0.7 is OK too.
All three build a Slackware package :
/tmp/gns3-0.6-noarch-1_SBo.tgz
/tmp/gns3-0.6.1-noarch-1_SBo.tgz
/tmp/gns3-0.7-noarch-1_SBo.tgz
.. and they all open a nice GUI, command = gns3
( And an entry in ' Menu > System ' is present too.)
.....
