I have been using SlackWare 9.0 for a while. I jumped in SlackWare 9.1 and tried (for the 1st time) GnomeMeeting.
after those 3 tgz were installed I gave me an error about ldap2.so not being there
I went to openldap and D/L ed the source. compiled. it said Berkely DB back-end wasnot there and it returned an error. I D/L ed the BDB make the installation [as it is described in the docs] and return to openldap which UNluckily said the same error.
after 2 hours of dep_hell I wonder
a] if any Slackware-user [9 + maybe?] has GnomeMeeting running?
b] if such man exists, I would love to hear to his ideas
c] in
www.slackware.com/pb they don't seem to know neither BDB (except the OLD versions) nor ldap ;(
d] a guy said to me 'apt-get install gnomemeeting' and have it up!
so I wonder and because I like SlackWare I can wait for some hours eventhough that apt-get thing would do just minutes
from the DLL hell to the DEP hell
plz HELP!
thank you
