gnomeconf.sh

hi all. When I try to ./configure the program "grip" I get the following error:

root@home:/home/rob/dloads/grip-3.0.7# ./configure

checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/local/lib... not found
configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install
root@home:/home/rob/dloads/grip-3.0.7#

any idea how I could resolve this?

Thanks,

(Slackware 9.0, Gnome 2.2)

I had this problem myself. See this thread.

Install those gnome 1.4 apps that neenee mentioned, and grip will build smoothly.
