gnome-session...shared object file error

I just installed a fresh copy of slackware linux 9.0. As soon as i finnished installing linux, I ran xf86config. After that I had some monitor error but I reran the program using lower hertz and whatever that monitor stuff was and the problem went away, I can always go back and reset my monitor settings im guessing. I ran startx and it gave me the error:

gnome-session: error while loading shared libraries: libORBitCosNaming-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

then it just shut down....

Any info would help! This is my first time runing linux so im a newb at this stuff... thanks ahead of time
