gnome power manager with Xfce 4.4.3?

at Slacky http://www.slacky.eu/aadm/pkgs/index.php?ver=6&pkg=2480

I thought I used this with Zenwalk Xfce, but don't remember....any gotcha's with this version of Xfce?

I didn't upgrade to Xfce 4.6.1 because I lost a couple of functions and that hasn't been resolved yet. Xfce power manager for 4.6 doesn't work with Xfce 4.4.3 (unless I didn't do something)....so, wondering if Gnome Power Mangler will do the job....
