Getting Slackware Updates

I'm a Slackware newbie and am wondering if there is a Update GUI available or if not how I can query (and find) repos.

Do a search for Slackpg or swaret or slapt-get - alternatively, check the changelogs and make whatever updates are required manually....

You might also wanna look at SlackUpdate and Emerde.

Also, there are tools for various window manager environments. Although I can't name any at the top of my hat. I really personally prefer the pkgtools. Don't remember when last I didn't compile from source or not use installpkg.

gslapt is quite good, qtswaret used to be the best of breed (UI for slackware package manager) IMHO; it seems that as of Nov'05 qtswaret is no longer being developed.

Haven't tried qtswaret for a few months as I tend to use slapt-get at the command line in preference to other options.
